Who we are
Five Oaks Lawn Care, a locally owned lawn care company in Christian Park, Indianapolis, IN, owned by Ian Rider. Questions about this policy or your information: ian.fiveoaks@gmail.com or (765) 413-5829.
What we collect
- When you fill out the contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional) and the message you type.
- When you call or email us: whatever you choose to tell us.
- When you browse the site: Google Analytics (GA4, through the Google tag) and Microsoft Clarity record pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you found us. Clarity also records how people move and click on pages. Both use cookies.
- Server logs: our web server records IP addresses, pages requested and browser type, for security and to block spam.
How we use it
- To answer you, give you an estimate and schedule work.
- To keep spam and abuse off our form. A simple check looks at how long the form was open and whether JavaScript ran, and a hidden field catches bots.
- To see which pages help people, so we can improve the site.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists.
Who sees it
- Five Oaks Lawn Care. Form messages are delivered to us by email.
- Our website manager, which runs this site. Messages are sent through its email account, so its mailbox also holds a sent copy.
- Google, which runs Google Analytics and delivers our email, and Microsoft, which runs Clarity.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages as long as we need them to answer you and keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time, and we will also ask our website manager to delete its sent copy.
Your choices
- Email or call us to get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Read Microsoft's privacy statement for how Clarity handles data.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS from a server we manage. No method is perfect, so please don't send passwords or payment card numbers through the form.
Children
This site is for homeowners. It is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
